Math, math, math!
You probably think that I am about to give you a math lecture. (Given the unit circle, to find sin(theta), wrap theta degrees (or radians or...) and find the y-value. sin(theta) is this y-value.) My parents had me do math a lot!!!!!!!!!!! How annoying is that?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Can't we talk about something else, like reading!?
Speaking of reading, there are many other Eat this, Not that! books. (see my book review for Eat This, Not That! For Kids!) Restaurant survival guide, supermarket survival guide, best and worst foods in america (WORST FOOD IN AMERICA: BASKIN-ROBIN'S CHOCOLATE OREO SHAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), kid's supermarket survival guide, etc.
I wish Pokémon was a school subject. Unfortunately, it isn't. Oh, well. :(

Hello!
Here is a teaser for the book So You Want to Be a Wizard:
While hiding from some bullies in the library, Nita sees a book in the “So You Want To Be a” series (So You Want To Be a Pilot, So You Want To Be an Engineer, etc.), but this one is called: So You Want To Be a Wizard. This could be a really good joke, for a possibility, but there could be a chance that it’s not...
Also, she’ll find a new wizard named Kit, a white hole named Fred (who accidently causes random things to appear), and the diabolical Lone Power, who has stolen the Book of Night With Moon. Nita, Kit, and Fred need to steal it back. Will they survive? Will they get back the Book of Night With Moon? Will Fred keep annoyingly making couches and refrigerators appear? Find out in this book!
I'll try to think of something other than a book review or teaser next time!

Goodbye!
I shall say something about Halloween today. The proper way to trick-or-treat is to... do what you would normally do. (Don't tell your strict teacher this, but there is no proper way to trick-or-treat.) Anyway, try to have a friend over for trick-or-treating. This might not be academic, but it's Halloween! Oh, and, integral(range 0-2, (2x^2)dx) is... 2(x^3)/3. Anyway, you can't find any posts at the post office, which is disappointing. 2+2=5. (That was a joke.)
Greetings!

Hello, and welcome to another day! Today I will be giving a book review: Eat This, Not That! For Kids! (That's the real title with the exclamation points.) The author is David Zinczenko.
The reason I began to read this book is because my sister had high blood cholesterol and high blood fats. It is on nutrition, and most of the book is on what to eat at certain places, including at restaurants, school, and home. Specifically, the major sections are on: 8 rules of kid's nutrition, what to get at specific restaurants (there are a lot of these), what to get at groups of restaurants (Family, mexican, italian, etc.), at the supermarket, at school (Cafeteria, vending machine, packed lunches), at home, and exercise.
A lot of the restaurant information was helpful. I have three warnings: Don't get Chipotle's rice (160 calories, 4 grams fat {0 saturated}, 330 mg sodium, 30 grams Carbs), Chili's awesome blossom (over 2000 calories and over 2000 mg sodium, this nonspecific information is because the adult one is with my sister and she's at college), and DO NOT GET Chili's Pepper Pals® Country-Fried Chicken Crispers. This is the worst kid's meal in america, with 1110 calories, 82 grams fat (15 saturated), and 1980 milligrams of sodium. Anything on Chili's menu is better than this, including the corn dog and little mouth burger, but the quesadilla is rather unhealthy. A lot of the book has healthier substitutions for certain foods.
The Supermarket information was also helpful. Surprisingly, Sun Chips are recommended against. Baked! Lay's are better, apparently. Also, no apple chips. They are not incredibly bad, but Nabisco Garden Harvest Toasted Chips Apple Cinnamon are better. Also, these are surprising not thats: Apple Cinnamon cheerios, Yogurt burst Cheerios, Quaker Natural Granola Oats, honey & rasins, Raisin Nut Bran, Wheat Chex, Kashi GOLEAN Crunch! Honey Almond Flax, and these last three are going to be surprising: Nature's Path Envirokidz organic gorilla munch, Kellogg's Smart Start Cereal (There is no FDA definition for strong Heart), and... Kellog's Raisin Bran! (I am telling the truth. Raisin Bran is high in sugars.) A lot of stuff at the supermarket that acts like it's healthy is not incredibly healthy.
Anyway, there are also some healthier-than-usual recipes that are in the book, including Fettucine Alfredo. NO CHEESE FRIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2800 calories and 160 grams of fat per appetizer is way too much. Make homemade cheese fries instead of getting them at someplace like Denny's or Chili's. I haven't tried any of the recipes yet, but I will try them at some point.
Anyway, I liked this book. Many of these have images to help find what to get. I would recommend this book for parents looking for what to get for their kids, but parents should also look for the regular version of Eat This, Not That!, which is designed for adults.

I take back what I said earlier; I will not be posting almost daily. Or I will. I don't know when I will be blogging.
Anyway, here's some more New-trition: A kind of red coloring for food comes from a kind of beetle. It seems sad that a bunch of beetles have to die so we can have strawberry milk shakes. People study at a certain place for their fast-food degree in "Hamburgerology." How crazy is our society that we have people studying hamburgers!? (Note to McDonalds: I did not mean to offend anyone by typing that.) A kind of surgery to decrease the size of the stomach, Gastric Bypass Surgery, costs 30,000 to 40,000 dollars and is very risky. It causes an impact on the stomach: 3 or 4 spoonfuls of pudding should be enough for a meal after GBS. It is an extreme example of a cure for obesity, but it works. I'm surprised that some people are so desperate to lose weight that they would do that.
I did not mean to offend anyone by writing this post.

Today, I will say that I am going to "Pokémon league," meaning that at some restaurant (with unhealthy food), I will be trading Pokémon cards and playing the Pokémon TCG (Trading Card Game.) A very large range of ages, genders, and so on are there. Even parents sometimes play! During Recess, I was building decks. I got some new cards for my birthday. My party was last saturday (from the time I was typing this, 9/15/09.) I am using the new cards to help build the decks. Right now, I am grouping together my best cards of certain types. I'm looking forward to using my decks tonight.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days is coming out soon! It is the fourth book in the series.

Today's another day! What did you expect?
Anyway, I will be giving some of my goals in school:
Improve spanish speaking, listening, and grammar because I do need help with those,
Read a lot because I like to read,
Write because I need practice in writing skills (Not handriting, though. here's doubleyou? Note: that as a joke.)
This was inspired by Obama's speech to schoolchildren. It basically said: set goals and don't quit. I liked the speech.
