New-trition
Here are some nutritional facts: in the '50s, an adult coke was 8 oz. Now, a child's coke at Macdonald's is 12 oz. Also, in the '50s, a fast-food burger weighed 1 oz. Now, a fast-food burger weighs 6 oz. At one restaurant, a particular kind of burger's patty weighs 6 pounds! The toppings weigh 5 pounds. At the same restaurant, another kind of burger weighs 15 pounds: 10 pounds of ground beef, 25 slices of cheese, 3 tomatoes, 2 onions, a head of lettuce, mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, relish, and peppers on a 17-inch bun.

ReplyDeleteI love your blog. I've put it in my "favorite"s list :-) Thank you for thinking to share it with me.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog. Fed the fish so many times that I was afraid they would start to look like little balloons.
ReplyDeleteYour zoom project is very big and looks complicated. Please show more of your projects.
I remember when Burgerville sold hamburgers five for $1.00. Our family of three in 1964 could eat for $2.00 with hamburgers, fries and drinks. We were skinnier then also.
Looking forward to more posts.
